For Lovey’s fourth birthday she received the cutest card from our little buddies, and I’ve wanted to use the same method since then. You only need a couple of materials to make this easy Mother’s Day card, and kids of all ages can participate.

Materials

- White Card Stock
- 20mm sequin paillettes in assorted colors (Ours were purchased at a local craft store.)
- Double-sided tape
- Colored craft sticks (Ours were provided by CraftProjectIdeas.com.)
To get started fold a piece of card stock in half to create the card.
You may want to decorate the inside of the card at this point, too. It makes it a bit easier to write inside the card.
Then use the double-sided tape to create a design of your choice. You could create anything, just make sure to leave enough room to place the sequins. We chose a simple flower design for our cards.
We placed a green craft stick on the tape for the stem.
Then the girls added sequins to cover the tape and create their flowers.
Some will create a multi-color flowers. Others might make a pattern of some sort. You can also add tape and sequins for leaves.
And that’s it! You’ve got a sparkly card that’s great for Mother’s Day or any day.
