Teach the alphabet to preschoolers by starting with name recognition using these hands-on preschool name activities that are perfect any time of year.
When introducing the alphabet to preschoolers I always prefer to start with engaging preschool name activities. It’s an easy way to help kids personally connect with their learning. Plus their name is one of the most important words kids will need to learn to read and write for years to come. Kids will love the hands on experience with letters, and will have even more fun making and playing with their own name using these creative name activities for preschoolers. Learning letters and reading has never been more fun!
In this collection I’m sharing nonseasonal name activities that can be used any time of year. Use them as kids begin to show readiness for learning letters. Then sprinkle in some of our seasonal name activities throughout the year for additional practice.
So far we already have a spring name activities collection, and soon we’ll be creating the collections for summer, fall, and winter.
