As a teacher I always loved Valentine’s Day. Kids would come in sooo excited to share their Valentines with the class, and the oohs and ahhs that echoed through the classroom as kids passed them out always made me smile. As a mom, I’ll admit I’m a bit conflicted. I mean I want my child to be excited about their Valentines, but I don’t want to have to spend a ton of time getting them ready. Plus I want my kids to be involved in making them. This collection of DIY Valentines for kids makes it super easy to grab an idea, print out your resources and work together with your little one to put them together. We like to snack on Valentine’s Day candy and chat as we make Valentines together. It makes it a bit more meaningful, and we get to spend a little quality time together.
