Although I have been admiring all of the great activities from The Virtual Book Club for Kids for a while, last month was my first month participating as a co-host. Did you see all of the wonderful ideas that were inspired by Dr. Seuss books? There were over 100 activities shared!

Our next author is Julia Donaldson. Find out more about this author at her official website. There is also a lot of terrific inspiration at Picture Book Plays.

The widget below includes some of Julia Donaldson’s books. But there are many, many more! You may have some at home, or there are probably a lot of options at your local library. I can’t wait to see which books you choose and what kinds of activities you share later this month.

If you’re interested in joining this month’s book club, here’s what you need to do…

  1. Comment below and let us know that you are joining in!
  2. Pick your favorite book by Julia Donaldson (or a new one you want to check out) and read it with your child or class.
  3. Create an activity, project, craft, cooking project, etc. related to the book and do it.
  4. Come back and share it with us as part of the Julia Donaldson blog hop on Monday, March 18th! The linky will be live for 3 weeks, so if you aren’t ready to post on the 18th… just join in when you can!
