Last week’s theme for Discover & Explore was Kid’s Lit and Book Activities.  There were some terrific book lists and adorable kids’ book activities shared. Among them were some great ideas for encouraging creativity with books.

Encouraging Creativity with Books

Play Dr Mom shared her favorite books about creativity.

Rubber Boots and Elf Shoes shares how she explores Go Away Big Green Monster with her preschoolers. I just love the art project they created.

These drawing prompts inspired by Not A Box from Little Moments are excellent.

And if you haven’t read through What Do We Do All Day’s extensive list of book lists, do so! There are so many outstanding book lists in that collection. Among them you’ll find books about dots, which includes some great books for encouraging creativity.

These posts and other highlights have been pinned to the Discover and Explore Pinterest Board.
