Although the girls still play with play dough often we haven’t created a new invitation to share with you in a while. One day after school I set up this Easter inspired bunny play dough invitation, and the girls jumped right in.

-
- Play dough made from a recipe in The Homemade Play Dough Recipe Book and Wilton Icing Colors
- Wilton comfort grip bunny cutter and and bunny cutter with tail
- Assorted googly eyes
- Pastel Buttons
- Pony beads
- Chenille stems trimmed into fourths
I never know whether the girls will choose to use the dough cutters I leave out or not. This time both girls did use them to make their bunnies.
Tinker is getting better at creating facial expressions, but you may also notice toddlers and younger preschoolers pressing the materials into the dough more than creating recognizable bunnies. That’s okay! It’s more about the fun and strengthening those fine motor skills.
I really like how Lovey decided to bend the whiskers in half to make loops. It added a fun special touch to her finished bunny.
Try one of these adorable bunny craft projects when you’re done with this play dough invitation.

Where did you get the trays you are using. Love the activities. 😌

So glad you like the activities! Our specific divided trays are from the seasonal housewares section at Walmart. They are “technically” fruit and veggie trays. You’ll often find a selection at Dollar Tree as well. However, over the years I’ve seen many other stores carry them in their housewares sections. If you are outside of the US, then you might try looking for vegetable trays in the housewares or dishware section of your local stores.
