My name is Michelle and while I’ve spent much of the last decade inside an early childhood classroom, I stepped out for a bit to play at home with my own two little guys, now three-and-a-half and nearly one. With an educational background in social work and disability studies, I have a passion for the unique and individualized ways that children learn. I believe in the power of play and natural curiosity to foster a lifelong love of learning. This truly emerges through meaningful play opportunities early on, both at home and in classroom settings.
When I am not chasing after my two busy boys, I can be found teaching an emergent literacy class to a group of four and five year olds at my older son’s school and hosting a local nature based play group at local parks and playgrounds for families with children of all ages.
