Simple science experiments are a meaningful way to get kids into the habit of thinking like scientists. That’s exactly what Tinker did in this jelly bean science experiment during our Easter theme activities!

Materials
Jelly Beans
Small Containers
Various LiquidsWe used warm water, water with salt, milk, orange juice, and vinegar.
Instructions
Sort the jelly beans by color.
Place four jelly beans in each small container.
Measure liquids to pour into the container.
Set a timer and check the jelly beans at 15 minutes, 1 hour, and 24 hours.
The next day remove two jelly beans from each container.
Place them next to a jelly bean that had not been in any liquid and compare them!
