These fun water play ideas are perfect for hot summer days! I especially love that they are super easy to prepare.

Water play activities are top on my list of play activities for toddlers and preschoolers for a variety of reasons:

  • They are inexpensive.
  • They are easy to clean up. (Tips: Put down a blanket or  towel before playtime. Contain the mess inside a small kiddie pool, or take everything outside for even less cleanup.)
  • They provide an excellent sensory experience for children that can be calming and very engaging. (Read: Keeps them busy in a constructive way!)
