Barbara Sullivan
I know this will sound snarky, but the beaches are closed, the State Parks are closed, and we can’t use wading pools in daycare. So how does this relate to our summer experience? Barbara in MN
Shaunna
Oh Barbara,
I do understand that feeling of frustration, especially if you are in an area that is closed down currently. This set is part of an ongoing series that was promised to my email subscribers, so I didn’t want to skip the summer version of the song. This may be something you’ll want to tuck away for another year if this year doesn’t feel like the right time to use it.
It’s also helpful to note that our readership is widespread throughout all parts of the world. In our area beaches and state parks are already starting to re-open. Hopefully that will be the case in the coming weeks and months before summer ends, and if not there are many fun ways to enjoy some of these fun summer traditions at home.
