During the winter months kids often become a bit curious about how animal live in very cold temperatures. This is an excellent time to learn more about polar animals. You might choose to learn about animals of the Arctic and Antarctica separately so kids learn which animals live in the northern hemisphere and which are found in the southern hemisphere. No matter how you choose to dive into your poplar animal themes these sensory bins looked especially fun, and they are a great way to help kids engage in pretend play about the facts they are learning in books and other learning activities.
