We’ve reached the end! We’ve had so much fun with our roll and color math games this past year, and we’ve heard so many wonderful stories about how much your kids love to play them at home and in the classroom. It’s a bit sad to see the series end, but we know you’ll continue to get great use out of these games for years to come. This is the newest and final set in our roll and color math games series. You can use it for a pumpkin theme, letter P activities, Halloween, or a general fall theme. As in all of our roll and color math games sets kids get the opportunity to practice various preschool through first grade math skills in a fun hands-on way.
This free printable excerpt from the full pumpkin math games set can be used to practice doubles facts. We recommend using this activity with kindergarteners and first graders who are working on math fact fluency. To play students will roll the game cube, double the number, and cover the sum of the doubles fact.
Our math games sets can be used in a few ways depending on your preferences.
If you’d like to use the set over and over again you can use manipulatives like small pom poms, buttons, glass beads, mini erasers or another related manipulative to cover the correct numbers as you play. You could also use sheet protectors and dry erase markers.
We chose to pull out some mini pumpkins that we have on hand.
If you’d like kids to have something to take home, grab some crayons and let them color the game sheets.
In this free printable set you get a game board and game cube to practice identifying doubles facts for addends 0 to 5. These skills are most appropriate for kindergarten and first grade students. If you’d like to practice other skills or need more options for differentiating instruction then the full 31 page game set may be best for your needs.
